Scott Moore graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stout in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education. In 1999 he completed a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Until 12 years ago, Scott was employed in the wood products industry and has more recently held positions as a labor-industry analyst and research director.
In 2005, Scott relocated to Charleston, S.C., and incorporated Moore Data LLC, a consulting firm that does work in applied statistics, data management and input-output economic/ecologic impact analysis in the Southeastern United States. Scott is also a Certified International Code Council Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner. He was the first person in South Carolina with a mobility impairment to complete the Charleston, South Carolina’s Master Naturists Certification. He is an active outdoors enthusiast, archer, and a patron sponsor of American Trails.
